This group brings together the original compositions and improvisational chemistry of seasoned veterans of the traditional music scenes of the bay area. Aharon represents the north Indian classical tradition on tabla and Bansuri flute; Tom Chandler brings the style of oud he learned from the Nubian (South Egyptian) master Hamsa El Din; and Cornelius Boots brings the Japanese tradition of the shakuhachi bamboo flute. Each musician infuses their own style and interpretation of these traditions as they interweave with one another in the improvisational contexts of new experiments music and jazz; genres within which each of the players has a strong a strong background.

Other instruments that may make an appearance in the hands of these players are middle eastern percussion, kalimba (thumb piano), bass clarinet, throat singing, jaw harps, drums, and the well known Panart Hang (melodic percussion sound sculpture).

Joining as a guest on hang and percussion will be Laura Inserra.
